Junior Chefs Cooking Club

Date: May 7, 14, 21 & 28, 2024 (Tuesdays)

Time: 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Cost: $200/month

Location: Hutton House

Age: 10 to 19

Goal: The terminal goal of the program is to empower neurodivergent youth to develop confidence in their cooking abilities, foster independence, and promote healthy eating habits.

Target Audience: Neurodivergent youth aged 10-19, including individuals with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, and other Developmental or Intellectual Disabilities.

Description: The Junior Chefs Cooking Program is a monthly Therapeutic Recreation initiative tailored for neurodivergent youth aged 10-19. Participants will engage in hands-on cooking experiences, learning culinary skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Note: All ingredients and cooking supplies will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
